Hey Folks,

I've been back in WoW for a few days getting Kapec up to 100 and ready for Legion. I've finally finished up the world of law school and landed a job that pays the bills and gives me a decent amount of time for a uh... life?. So hopefully that translates into getting back into WoW on a semi regular schedule.

Anyone else out there looking to make a return for Legion? It's too quiet around here!

If you need further incentive... Grr has a hilariously bad internet connection and watching his frustration has provided me with endless giggles.

We can be found on the Evindra server, which yes, is a RP-PVE, but they're not super strict about it.

I have upgraded Vanilla (the forum software) to the most recent version and changed the theme since the old one was broken with the new Vanilla. If you had custom notification preferences on the site, you may want to check those since I think the notification system was modified a bit. Let me know if you notice any issues.

It seems it's that time of year again to find out.... what the heck is going on in the world of warcraft and is DS still a viable entity? I guess I'll check back in 3 or 4 months IF I'm not back before that. I remain ever hopeful that I can come by even a little spending coin and find my way back in, sooner rather than later. My latest estimate is before the end of the year.

Until then (or whenever), have fun and don't give DS a bad name!

FYI, I've temporarily changed the site registration process to require administrator approval in order to cut down on the number of spam/garbage accounts being created. Once I get a chance to clean up the garbage accounts, I'll investigate a hopefully better way to do user registration.

I've been busy re-launching my home inspection business with my business partner and

I don't see any let up in sight.

Didn't know this forum existed until I took the 7 free days of WoW offer from Blizzard, but I did get a couple of questions of what I've been up to for about half a year. Long story short I've been pursuing some interests that I always kept putting off due to how much time I did put into WoW. One of them was learning more about Flash.

As such I ended up assembling a flash based game you can find here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/591202

I doubt I'll be sticking around in WoW past the 7 free days, I can't say I miss the grind; that and coming back after so many months to see all my gear is pretty much worthless and replaced in the span of an evening somewhat hammers in the point of how pointless most of what one works for in the game is lost and replaced so quickly. Certainly is nice to hang out with everyone, but that just makes WoW a very expensive chat program!

WoW Character Plugin

I created (and enabled) a plugin that allows forum users to be associated with World of Warcraft characters. Currently it provides only some basic functionality (character avatar and some flavor text), but it could be the foundation for more stuff in the future. A new link was added to the user profile page to manage the association.

Please let me know if you experience anything buggy or weird.
